My FAVORITE wedding trends!
Private Vows
My husband and I spent a few minutes before the ceremony reading our heartfelt vows to each other. We didn't do a first look so we had a doorway between us but it meant so much to have that private moment.
I have seen others do this just after the first look and photos. It gives them a moment of peace and to just take in the day.
Dessert Bar
I've seen this a few times. My husband and I had several different cookies, mints, hard candy, puppy chows, caramels, and more. I have seen others do it with different flavors of cookies or cupcakes.
Personalized Wedding Favors
I have seen so many different ideas and options but the thought of giving your wedding guests a personalized gift is so unique and heartfelt. Whether you thrift coffee mugs that remind you of each guest, or a book, bookmark. It doesn't need to be big or expensive. It could be a handwritten note. I just think it is so sweet and would mean so much to each guest.
Mix-and-Match Bridesmaid Dresses
I allowed my bridesmaids to pick out their dress in any style and texture, as long as it matched a specific color. I think that this is brilliant! It allows each person feel comfortable, great in their body, and keep it within a better budget for them. As a photographer, I love getting to see the personalities in each dress.
